Your BEing is your only qualification for worthiness and the only thing you need to be great in this world. You already have it 🙌🏼⠀

How would you live if you really embraced that?⠀

We DO a million things in a day...⠀
Start IV’s⠀
Wipe runny noses⠀
Change diapers⠀
Make a phone call⠀
Check boxes on your to-do list⠀
Clean the house⠀
Have failures⠀
Have many a success⠀
And guess what???⠀

None of that changes your BEing☝🏼⠀

Whether you’re feelin high or super low from anything on the DOing side of the line it has absolutely nothing to do with the BEing side.⠀

Your name is on the BEing side and you’ve been given everything you need to shine bright and be successful in this world. It’s time to act like it. 🌟⠀

It’s been a season of hustle and I’m thankful to take a little pause before turning 34. I am most grateful that I’ve given myself permission to evolve and change.⚡️⠀

I haven’t drank alcohol in six months and I’ve never missed it.🤷🏻‍♀️⠀
My soul sister @thatwellthylife started a sober living journey and I was intrigued by it. When I really focused on healing my hormones I decided to join her (and @amanda.adamcheck) and have felt SO much better. I never thought I’d see the day I didn’t reach for a glass of wine but life is funny. Surprising yourself is cool. Never stop asking a new question or just trying something on for size.⠀

In mentorship I help nurses tune in, listen to what their soul is saying and take a LEAP on their dreams. Over these last couple of months I’ve been feeling the winds of the change and have taken a LEAP myself. 🤸🏻‍♂️⠀

My last day as a pediatric nurse was this past Saturday. Working twelve hour shifts is not realistic with my life and business anymore and in all honesty it didn’t bring me the joy it once did. I’m officially a community nurse and a business owner now and 100% in charge of my own schedule. 🙌🏼⠀
⠀
The truth is I’m fighting everyday for a life I’m obsessed with and I hope I inspire you to do the same. Working at the hospital, giving flu shots or doing phone assessments doesn’t define me. At the end of the day I’m me and my value and worth is not tied to any of these things...⠀
titles, followers, dollars in my bank account or accolades. I’m just a girl who decided to go for it and I’m most proud because I am able to live in my authentic truth.🖤 🐆⠀

Thank you all for being on this journey with me and for all of my mentees who put in so much work and force me to elevate right along with them. It’s magical ⚡️⚡️

I’ve been thinking a lot about asking a different question... ❓❓❓⠀

So often we’re focused on what isn’t working or the things that are bringing us down that we haven’t stopped to ask... “How can I let go?” or “How can I see a different perspective?”⠀
⠀
Reading Untethered Soul has given me a huge shift in my perspective (see quote I posted in my stories this morning).⠀
Another thing I’ve done recently is journal letters to myself... what would my best friend or an outsider say? Maybe you need a pump-up or some grace? Write to yourself from a different point of view. It’s kind of wild 🤯⠀

I started Nine Lives Health & Mind when my best friend and I shut down our blog after a couple years and I knew I wanted to do something but was unsure of what. 💻⠀

Cats don’t really have nine lives (or do they???) but they LEAP and are super agile and always LAND on their feet. 🐈 Hence our motto: LEAP LAND LIVE

I’ve taken a lot of leaps, had many a failure but I’m here still standing and I believe you can do the same. Helping people embrace their true BEing and take a chance on themselves is my purpose on this planet and I’m grateful I get to do it every single day. ⚡️⠀

I started the #NursesInspireNurses movement because I was sick of waiting for someone else to make everything better (staffing, work environment, scheduling, etc.) when I knew if we all supported each other we could make our environment better. 👯‍♀️⠀

I’m obsessed with oat milk lattes, graphic tees, bike rides, personal development and getting uncomfortable. Thanks for being here and my prayer is that by embracing my true BEing I give you permission to do the same.⠀

I used to be SO stressed about all the things I had to do and my never-ending to-do list until I hired a biz coach over a year ago.⠀

I discovered the difference between BEing and DOing and what it was like to do something with no outcome attached.... Yes it took me 32 years to discover that 🤣🤣⠀

I’m obsessed with it now and why I periodically plan my “Cat Happy Days” which are sometimes only an afternoon but magical regardless 🌟⠀

It’s all about the journey, and I’m obsessed with it. Every day is a gift and I love coffee walks in our little town. Thankful for some time phone free today and a few little things that brought me joy. Check out my stories for the deets 👀⠀
